Yahoo! Homepage Redesigned at Last!

Yahoo is planning on rolling out the redesign of their homepage this Tuesday afternoon. This will be followed a month later by a redesign of the Yahoo search engine.

Should Twitter Win the Nobel Peace Prize?

A former aide of George W. Bush has today stated that Twitter should be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize because of the part it played during last month’s civil unrest in Iran. The prize is awarded for the demonstration of “fraternity between nations” and “holding the promotion of peace”, two areas Mr Pfeifle believes Twitter showed during the crisis. (more…)

Shop Savvy - Price Comparison Goes Mobile

The price comparison and voucher market has been steadily growing over the last 12 months, with phenomenal growth seen over the last few months in particular. It seems the consumers appetite for a bargain is greater than ever given the current financial landscape, and the trend only looks set to grow.

Comparison sites now drive on average 10% of online sales, whilst last year saw a 133% increase in voucher searches. This trend shows no sign of slowing, and with the advent of Shop Savvy it may be about to hit the next level. (more…)

Google Set to Release Cloud Based Google Drive?

Cloud computing looks set to receive a real boost in the near future as Google further develops their GDrive service for public use. The GDrive has already been in internal use by Google employees, and those in the know have noticed developments that suggest that the feature could become main stream in the near future.
