Hitwise recently confirmed that analysis of search habits can now be broken down to a postcode level, as opposed to a much broader regional level which was previously available.

Should We Be Taking Bing Seriously?
So we have to get used to yet another of Microsoft’s Search Engines. To be frank I have very seldom used a search engine from Microsoft purely for the fact that I find (like with millions of others) that Google is better and due to this any search engine that has entered the market I have more often than barely batted an eyelid. However with Microsoft’s new stab at gaining some of that elusive slice of the search engine pie I have a hunch that Bing could be different. Don’t get me wrong I am pretty sure that we are not seeing the demise of Google because in all honesty I very much doubt this will happen at least any time soon, but for once I am sensing that Microsoft could be on to something especially given the current search engine landscape.

IndexTools Rebranded as Yahoo Web Analytics
Yahoo! has announced the deployment of Yahoo! Web Analytics following the acquisition of IndexTools in April. The tool is already available to advertisers and third-party application developers, with Yahoo! Small Business customers set to be able to use the tools by Christmas.
