Today Google “Bing-ifies” itself by featuring a background image on its homepage. It all started a week ago when Google began letting users customise the page by uploading their own background images on Google.com. In order to highlight this feature, the homepage will be featuring a custom background over the next 24 hours.
From what I have read this morning, it seems that many users have been frustrated by the lack of a ‘delete’ button.
I love Google for its clean and simple interface and I am not overly keen on the background image. It would be great to have it as an option, rather than default.
