Google Gets A Bing Makeover

Google are finally rolling out its new SERPs interface today after months of testing. Those lucky enough to have used/seen it already will notice that the makeover has an uncanny resemblance to Bing.

The new design uses a three column design where the left hand panel contains Google’s various search verticals and the search engine rankings are displayed neatly in middle. The left hand panel also dynamically changes depending on what you search giving users suggested genres to do with their search query.

You will also notice that the whole look has been freshened using a new colours. This includes the Google logo where Google has given the drop shadow the boot and kept it a lot cleaner with more vibrant hues.

Google have announced that it is rolling out the new design today and by the end of the day people should be seeing the interface.
