According to findings made by ComScore, Twitters world wide traffic in July has raised to 51.6m unique users.
The report also goes on to state that unique users have risen by 7.1m compared to June, with US users alone rising by 1.2m. This has resulted in US users accounting for 41% of twitter traffic, with international users counting for 59%, increasing from 55% in June. The report also reveals the statistic that 11% of Twitter users are aged 12 to 17, which is contrary to what was displayed earlier in the month by Nielsen, claiming that 16% of users are aged under 25, this makes it hard to believe that only 5% of Twitter users are aged 18 to 25!
This further increase comes after the Twitter homepage was redesigned in June to help make the site more accessible and easier to use, a goal that appears to have been reached if the above figures are anything to go by.
