So another week has gone (time seems to be flying of late) and so once again I present a list of things we have been reading this week so here goes…
Izea to launch sponsored Tweets service
Social media marketing firm Izea is launching a platform that will allow advertisers to sponsor conversations on Twitter. In what could be a clever move by Izea Sponsored Tweets (which is set to launch on July 20 with 200 users of the microblogging site) will see people add sponsored links to their tweets.
SEO & PPC budgets set to double by 2014
Well the title says it all. Figures from Forrester predict spend on PPC and SEO will increase steadily over the next 5 years!! Good news for us I guess
Twitter pulls Moonfruit campaign from trending topic
Interesting development in the Moonfruit campaign which involved offering to give MacBook Pros to users who tweeted #moonfruit . Twitter have incidentally pulled them from their trending topics after it topped it for a number of days.
