The Week In Search - 10/07/09 Recap

So this is the fourth Week In Search post (hasn’t time gone quick). I decided to use a slightly different format this week and I haven’t put them in categories as before but instead given a better description of each post we have been reading this week. I have still put in the fun section at the bottom however (it would be a sin to get rid of this bit). So here goes…

Are Twitter finally beginning to take advantage of the scope for advertising? This shows that it looks like Twitter is moving in that direction (to be honest it was pretty inevitable!)

Twitter considered for the Nobel Peace Prize

We also wrote a post on this during the week. Maybe a bit over the top (who am I to judge) it is quite a statement of how effective social networking is (as if we didn’t know already)

I actually noticed this during the week. Is Google purposely being slow to index Bing regularly??

Interview with Microsoft Bing’s Rajesh Srivastava, Principle Group Manager, Bing

This doesn’t really warrant a description but it is worth a read especially if like us you are interested in Bing

I feel a bit harsh about putting this in our fun section however it is pretty unbelievable. It’s like car crash tele but on the web. The gist is that an SEO Company used the Google Support Forum for help and then got busted by their clients MD….
